Our forwarding department is specializes in handling containers that arrive in the port of Rotterdam. We deliver them to customers in the Netherlands, but the majority goes to Germany. We do this through various modalities. Within the ShipRoad network, the advantages of every form of transport are optimally combined:
The barge as a reliable, cheap, and environmentally friendly means of transport calls at almost every terminal in the ARA ports with fixed timetables and shows its advantages on the route over the Rhine.
The train connects the domestic terminals with the ports of Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam, and Antwerp, and the European transport network.
The truck is a flexible, fast partner for the regional area. We attune our customers’ wishes in terms of agreements by cleverly combining them with the means of transport to optimally match the ecological and economic preconditions.
The direct connection by truck completes the range of transport options. The Rotterdam/Antwerp/Hamburg/Bremerhaven range in connection with the European hinterland is available to our customers at all times.
